Ragunan Zoo Ticket will Be Free of Charge During Torch Relay

The Ragunan Zoo will be one of the locations crossed by the Asian Games torch relay on August 15.

To enliven the torch relay, the Ragunan Zoo ticket will be free of charge

During these activities, the manager will free visitors who want to enter the zoo.

South Jakarta Vice Mayor, Arifin said that the zoo would be opened to the public. Even the incoming visitors will get admission tickets for free to enliven the event.

"To enliven the torch relay, the Ragunan Zoo ticket will be free of charge," he expressed, Tuesday (8/14).

He mentioned that the event would be divided into two stages. The first stage will end at Post 11 that is located in Ragunan Zoo area for approximately one hour before proceeding to the second stage.

"Local cultural arts will be displayed such as gambang kromong, keroncong and so forth," he told.

Ragunan Zoo Management Unit Head, Dina Himawati added that the policy is taken to enliven the event.

"That's why the zoo ticket will be free of charge," he said.
